The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for directing the daily human resources activities and human resource needs of the supported business unit(s). This position will provide Human Resources services to employees and management to maintain and improve all aspects of the employee experience.
The HR Manager will resolve employee relations issues and problems and coordinate the performance management process. This position must maintain the measurements to demonstrate continuous improvement in the value of the employees. The HR Manager performs HR-related duties on a professional level in collaboration with senior management to support designated business unit(s).
The HR Manager must be able to build relationships and establish credibility with employees from the wide range of departments and management levels. This position must be able to recognize and effectively adapt to changes in practices, protocols, and preferences from department to department.
The HR Manager will provide recommendations and assist in the development of company policies and procedures. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring consistent and uniform enforcement of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to federal and state regulations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Recruiting, new hire orientation, and training
  • Training and Talent Management Policies
  • Partner with supervisors in administering company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner
  • Work with Safety Manager to ensure a safe work environment for all employees; assist in administering of safety policies and procedures
  • Actively assist in and oversee recruitment/hiring of new employees at all levels within facility
  • Facilitate monthly and yearly training classes as required.
  • Maintain all needed metrics on HR data
  • Oversee the weekly new employee orientation program. Review and update presentation materials as needed

Job Requirements

Education:
  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources; PHR/SPHR certification strongly preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Experience:
  • 5+ years of Human Resource management/supervisory experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be willing and able to do hands on administration of all HR areas listed in overview
  • Strongly prefer candidate that has created HR infrastructure or is lean/Six Sigma trained
  • Must have thorough knowledge of local. state and federal lows pretaning to Human Resources
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Ulti-Pro or similar HR information systems, AS400/Data Collection, Time and attendance measures

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
